Fears Grow That Iran’s Next Move In Kuwait Will Be Terror Attacks On U.S. Targets
2026-06-08
JAFAJ sources in Kuwait have confirmed that the American military apparatus and diplomatic corps in the Persian Gulf state are now on full alert for expected terrorist attacks against American interests in the Kuwaiti capital. This comes amid Iranian targeting of American bases in Kuwait with missile attacks, which have been launched multiple times over the first few days of June 2026.
While the missiles launched by Iran are causing disruption to the small Gulf country of Kuwait, terrorist attacks would be more severe to the country’s very delicate stability. Following a very hard-line policy against its own citizens, which has taken place for the past two years, Kuwait has stripped citizenship from thousands of its own nationals, rendering them stateless and planting a wedge between the government and the people. The country’s economic conditions have worsened, with high inflation and very few subsidies or provisions, despite Kuwait being one of the world’s largest oil exporters.
In addition, a good and often underestimated percentage of Kuwaitis are of the Shiite sect, with many of Iranian origins, plus many Iranians who already live in the country, making it very vulnerable to attack and already infiltrated by Iranian intelligence. Hence, such an attack would render Kuwait’s stability even more questionable amid regular missile attacks by the Iranians.
