VIDEO: ISRAELI SPECIAL FORCES SEIZE SUSPECTED PALESTINIAN TERROR OPERATIVE AS ISRAEL TIGHTENS ITS GRIP ON WEST BANK HOTSPOTS

Israeli special forces carried out a rapid arrest operation inside the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, on Wednesday evening, capturing two Palestinians, including a wanted suspect who was reportedly wounded by live fire.
Palestinian sources identified one of those arrested as Rami Bassam Shalabiya. They said Israeli undercover forces infiltrated the camp before additional military vehicles entered the area. The force then raided a commercial property, opened fire and arrested Shalabiya alongside another man. The nature and severity of Shalabiya’s injury remain unknown.
CCTV footage shows Israeli security personnel holding the injured Shalabiya and swiftly extracting him from the refugee camp.
The operation signals that Israel is expanding and intensifying its security actions across the West Bank to deter suspected terrorist operatives and other potential troublemakers, particularly inside established flashpoints such as the Balata refugee camp near Nablus.
Balata is one of the West Bank’s most volatile and densely populated areas. Sending undercover personnel into the camp and extracting detainees through its narrow streets demonstrates both the intelligence preparation behind the operation and Israel’s growing willingness to act directly inside Palestinian militant strongholds.
No official information has yet been released detailing the allegations against the two detainees.
